100% pinotage
The wine has aromas of strawberries and forest fruit with a light wood touch. It is a fruity soft wine with round tannins that is pleasant to drink.
Soil:
an 18 year old vineyard with a slight south slope on high potential red karoo soil with layers of lime and clay.
Vinification:
the fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks. The fermentation temperature is controlled at 25 degrees. After the malolactic fermentation, the wine is transferred into a stainless steel tank with french oak bars in it. The wine stays here for another 7 months before bottling.
Nice with:
goes well with grilled white meat, smoked meat and various cheeses.
